Our Villa and the Farmhouse are situated on the outskirts of Arusha and is ideally located for several daytrips within the region.
The Villa itself and the surrounding gardens offer a relaxing atmosphere. You can stroll through the gardens with spectacular views of both Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Multiple terraces offer plenty of room for reading and dozing off whilst enjoying the African sun. For the warmer days, the swimming pool is there to cool you down! The Farmhouse offers splendid views of the garden and the coffeeplants. Often the blue monkeys will come to visit. From your private veranda you will enjoy them playing in the trees.
In the evening a tasteful three course dinner is served on the veranda and you can enjoy after-dinner-drinks under the stars beside our fireplace. We offer our guests a variety of delicious meals, using mostly locally grown and produced products.
We limit the use of meat due to their high carbon footprint and we do not serve beef nor pork. Instead, we serve chicken and fish as an option, along with an every day varying vegetarian menu. Please let us know if you have any dietary wishes, we are happy to prepare your meals accordingly.
We would like to tell you everything about Arusha, Tanzania, the local community, and the charity projects we are supporting. And, of course, we will share information with you about all of the nice places that you should not miss during your stay at Arusha Villa.
WiFi is only available on the terrace nearby the swimming pool.
We do not have WiFi in the rooms.
Our rooms
Arusha Villa consists of two buildings. The Villa contains six large double rooms and two family rooms with a maximum of five beds. Those family rooms can also be changed into luxurious suites. All rooms have beautiful views, a private balcony or terrace and, a large bathroom.
Our Farmhouse has four rooms, two double and two twin, each with a large, private bathroom. Every room has a veranda. All rooms can be interconnected. It is therefore also suitable for a large family or large groups. The farmhouse is surrounded by an abundant amount of large trees where you will find monkeys playing around. Staying at the farmhouse offers a great quantity of privacy and the use of the facilities of the villa.
An extensive breakfast is always included in the price. Throughout the day complimentary coffee, tea and water is provided.

Groups
Groups
Arusha Villa is very suitable to host groups of up to 26 people. The Villa will be exclusive to your party and we could offer both half-board and full-board options. In addition to the villa we can offer the Farmhouse (which has four rooms; two double, two twin/triple). It is surrounded by large trees and has a veranda for your convenience. You will have plenty of privacy and the use of the facilities of the villa will be available to you.
Our accommodation and location is convenient for all kind of groups; creative, active, etc. We organise hiking and running weeks upon request. Bird lovers and photographers can explore the surrounding area from the villa. Furthermore, groups of families and friends are welcome to celebrate their anniversaries at Arusha Villa. We offer daytrips and special activities upon request. Always tailor made, affordable and unique.

In the vicinity of Arusha, there is plenty to discover. Our villa offers an ideal starting point for a one or multiple day tour to Arusha National Park.
This small but amazing park offers a variety of spectacular landscapes, from the riverbed in the west of the park, to the crater grassland in the south-east, the alkaline lakes in the north-east and Mount Meru in the centre of the park. The park is the home to many animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras and dik-diks. A large variety of birds can be found here as well. There are many activities within the park such as hiking with a park ranger, horseback riding and canoeing. This combination of activities and nature cannot be found anywhere else and so Arusha National Park and a must-see!
There are many other activities around Arusha. Hiking the vicinity of our villa with a local guide and meeting our neighbours is one of them. You’ll see the small shops where the local people buy their groceries, pass fields where the vegetables are grown and encounter many schoolchildren who would like to practise their English with you. We have identified over 80 bird species in our garden. Lets see how many of them you know!
During the season the area is colored purple because of the jacaranda. Make sure you bring your camera!
A visit to the local market is a true experience. It is hectic, colourful and crowded, very different from the Tanzania you encounter in the parks. We will take you to where the local people eat their ugali (a local dish) and meet each other on a free afternoon for a drink. At the market itself you will see all the local vegetables, fruits, herbs and beans.

In addition to experiencing the wonderful nature around Arusha, you have the opportunity to learn about the projects we support.
The Dutch Foundation Friends of Tanzania funds both Ngorika and Kikatiti Friends of Tanzania.
We are also supporting the de-snaringproject in the Serengeti. This is important, due to the fact that annually an estimate of 80,000 wildebeests are killed by snares.
In the surroundings of Arusha we support more projects, with a focus on animal protection and wildlife conservation,
